Interesting areas in town

We especially recommend you to stroll along the walled enceinte’s narrow alleyways and walk up to Tossa’s Lighthouse, from where you’ll be able to enjoy the magnificent views of our coast.

Outside the walls, limited by the Portal and Estolt streets, you will find the traditional fishermen’s quarter, known as sa Roqueta, which is the result of the first expansion of the village outside the walls during the 16th century.

Beyond sa Roqueta, if you follow the Portal street you will arrive to the town centre’s commercial area, which extends along the Socors and La Guàrdia streets, the Plaça d’Espanya square and the Pou de la Vila street up to the Costa Brava avenue, this last one already located in a much more modern part of the town.

Another pleasant area to go for a walk is the sea front from the feet of the ancient ramparts to the Mar Menuda beach. This itinerary along the sea promenade is a good place to enjoy the sea and the spectacular views of Tossa’s Cape and the ramparts.
