The Salted Cod Cuisine

7th campaign - From the 17th February to the 25th March 2018

Tossa de Mar's Tourist Office and some of our local restaurants will organize for the seventh consecutive year the gastronomic campaign "The Salted Cod Cuisine", from the 17th February to the 25th March 2018.

These restaurants will offer a three course special menu, emphasizing the salted cod as one of the most traditional and versatile ingredients of our kitchen during Lent. Some of the dishes that were offered during the 2017 campaign are: brandada or cod fritters, piquillo peppers stuffed with brandada; Cod cim i tomba ; Cod with tomato, with samfaina, with vegetables, with plums, raisins and pine nuts, with beans of Sta. Pau and botifarra; Pals rice with cod; Loin of cod confit with rosemary and garlic cream, with Catalan roast, with leek, pumpkin, potato cream and garlic oil ...
